Fidelity refers to the degree to which the instructional practices are implemented as planned or intended by the developers of the effective practices. Participants will identify the critical delivery components of scientific research based instructional practices and develop checklists that will be utilized by both the persons delivering the instruction and those monitoring the delivery of the instruction. These checklists will be used to ensure students are receiving effective instruction. Examples of fidelity checklists will be shared as well as some guidelines for their use.
